To produce the equivalent amount of power with conventional solar systems would require at least 5-11 years for payback and at least 10-12 acres of valuable urban land.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike the many acres of expensive downtown real estate required for solar array fields, <a href=\"http:\/\/solarwindow.com\" target=\"_blank\">SolarWindow\u2122<\/a> systems can be installed on the readily-available vast window glass surfaces on tall towers and skyscrapers. <a href=\"http:\/\/solarwindow.com\" target=\"_blank\">SolarWindow\u2122<\/a> can be applied to all four sides of tall towers, generating electricity using natural, shaded, and even artificial light. Conventional solar simply does not work in shaded areas or perform under artificial light.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/solarwindow.com\" target=\"_blank\">SolarWindow\u2122<\/a> can outperform today\u2019s solar by as much as 50-fold when installed on a 50 story building, according to independently validated power production calculations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/zoldenergiablog.hu\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Homes-Chart-Final-logo1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-nsm-1-2033\" src=\"http:\/\/zoldenergiablog.hu\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Homes-Chart-Final-logo1-300x206.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"206\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0single installation of <a href=\"http:\/\/solarwindow.com\" target=\"_blank\">SolarWindow\u2122<\/a> modules could:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Avoid the carbon emissions produced by vehicles driving over 2.2 million miles each year, compared to today\u2019s rooftop (PV) systems with only 180,000 miles.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Provide the equivalent reductions in carbon emissions as 770 acres of forest, compared to today\u2019s rooftop (PV) systems with only 20 to 70 acres.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/solarwindow.com\" target=\"_blank\">SolarWindow\u2122<\/a> modules are created by applying ultra-thin layers of liquid coatings on to glass and flexible plastics. These liquid coatings produce ultra-small solar cells and form groups called \u2018arrays\u2019.
