In 2011 China led the global annual wind power market again, by adding 17.631 MW of a new wind capacity and cementing its place as the world’s leading wind market with a total of 62.364 MW.

Germany Sets New Record
On 11th of May 2014, Germany’s impressive streak of renewable energy milestones continued, with renewable energy generation surging to a record portion — nearly 75 percent — of the country’s overall electricity demand by midday.
